Appeal Board Rules

The Appeal Board has adopted rule changes that are effective immediately.

The changes were made to use plain language and to correct outdated procedures.

The newly adopted rules are  here.

Every New Yorker Counts
2020 Census
April 1, 2020 is Census Day, which is the first day for the next round of the nationwide census. The census is a constitutionally-mandated count of every person living in the U.S. and is completed once every 10 years.

New Yorkers' fair share of federal funding for health care, education, housing, economic development and transportation programs, as well as the number of representatives New Yorkers have in Congress, all depends on how many truthful, accurate responses New Yorkers submit to the census. Please help ensure you and your fellow New Yorkers receive the best funding and representation possible by participating in the census.
