Virtual hearings allow claimants, employers, representatives, and witnesses to attend hearings before the Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board from anywhere using a mobile device or computer. Virtual attendance at hearings is available for all unemployment insurance hearings statewide. Those who do not have access to internet will still be able to attend a virtual hearing by phone.
If you speak another language or have limited English proficiency, you may contact the UI Appeal Board at (518) 402-0210 in advance of your hearing to update your language preference.

Review Your Documents
You should receive documents related to your hearing approximately 7 days before your hearing.
You should review all these documents prior to the hearing. If you have any questions, please call (518) 402-0210 for assistance.
Test Your System
Download the Webex application onto your device.
You may try a test meeting prior to your scheduled hearing. We recommend that you try a test meeting at least 2 days before your scheduled hearing.
If the test fails, check your system requirements. If you cannot successfully join a Webex meeting 5 minutes before your hearing is scheduled to begin, you should call into your hearing by dialing (518) 545-3889.
